THUD!
That was the noise of a 16 year old boy hitting the dirt road hard. He has white hair, medium length, blue eyes, and stood at 5'10". He was wearing black samurai pants and a white traditional work shirt. The boy's name was Ceon and he was walking home from the forest with a dear friend of his. Her name was Senna and the two have been friends for years since they were little. Ceon and his older sister Claire, who was 18 now, lived in the town Chiefs house which was Senna's grandfather. Now the question of why Ceon's face is in the dirt is simple really. He's a lazy klutz and he tripped over a rock. Ceon was too embarrassed to stand so he just laid there wishing he was dead.
He knew Senna was going to pester him and give him a hard time. Ceon really didn't want to hear it about now anyways, as it was getting late and dinner was soon. Claire was home that night and making Ceon's favorite of a chicken curry with white rice and dumplings. Oh how the days just got better and better, but still, Ceon laid there in the dirt not wanting to get up...
"Well, this is what you get for never looking where you are going!" Senna said, shaking her head. She wore a light red, almost pink, dress with white edges and designs covering it. The sleeves were too long for her as it was her mother's dress, from before she had died. Senna was a bit smaller then her mother had been, but was not fully grown, and expected to grow into the dress long before discarding or modifying it, so the sleeves dwarfed her arms, and she did not mind, since the bottom no longer drug on the ground when she wore it. Her long, dark black hair that had a hint of purple in the right lighting was blowing in the breeze.
Senna bent over and grabbed one of Ceon's hands with both of her own, not bothering to push her sleeves back. She hauled him up. "Come on, we need to get back, or did you forget that Claire is making your favorite food? Maybe you just want it cold?"
Ceon was picked up and the dirt fell from his face and clothes. He had an annoyed look on his face as he was lifted by Senna. Ceon just looked at her with a small smile as he stood up on his own. For some reason Senna was taller than him by a little. Ceon must not have grown all the way it seems, and still had some time. Ceon just grabbed her hand and walked with her slowly heading back. He knew Claire was making his favorite tonight and all, but he wanted to take his time. He had a real nice time with Senna back at the forest just the two of them. The way she grabbed the stick and handled it made her look like a real pro, and Ceon made her scream a few times too...
Yeah that's right, they were playing Samurai. Senna was using a stick as a sword and Ceon was a ninja. He would pop out and scare her making her scream a few times!
As the two walked hand in hand it looked so cute with the two. They entered their small village as the sun was setting and they passed the grave yard. Ceon stopped and looked inside it seeing 3 tomb stones next to each other. Senna's mother and Ceon's parents. It's been about a year since their death and the war was still going on. It was hard to believe Ceon wasn't recruited into war yet, as he was of age. Claire did a good job of keeping them as safe as she could. They were all thankful for that...
Ceon then smiled and bowed to them as he took Senna's hand again and they entered the village heading to the top of the hill where they lived...
Senna also bowed, respectfully, to the tomb stones, before continuing on with Ceon. She squeezed his hand through her sleeve with her own, happy for the touch. The two of them, and Claire, had lived together for so long that she considered them not only her best friends, but the siblings that she had never had. Though lately she could feel nothing but joy when seeing Ceon, sometimes her heart felt like it would burst when he would do something nice for her, or the few times that he spoke. She did not quite understand this; it was not the same way with Claire. She ended the thought process there when they got into town.
As they walked through the small market Senna looked around eagerly, as she always did. She always felt the need to purchase some sort of treasure, whether it was a particularly red apple, or a strange new toy said to be from a far off land, she did not care.
She sighed. Money was tight, even though her father was the head of the village. These days if her treasures were not needed food for the family, she had to imagine taking them home, and commit them to her memory. Still, when she saw a long red ribbon hanging at one of the seller's booths, her eyes fell on it and did not move. Even as she and Ceon kept walking, she turned her head enough to keep staring at it, not realizing that she was doing so.
As they walked he could feel her grip tighten. Ceon guessed that meant she was really happy or something, but it made him happy too. As they walked through the town Senna looked everywhere for some type of souvenir that she called treasure. Ceon thought it was funny and watched her as she looked around, but then he noticed she was starring at something. Ceon looked at what she was starring at, and it was a long red ribbon. Did she have interest in that item? Ceon was wondering that till he accidentally bumped into some guys that were drinking.
HEY! Watch where you’re going kid...
Ceon just nodded and then looked at that ribbon too. He knew money was tight, but Ceon has been saving his allowance. He didn't really have anything to get anyways as just spending his time with Senna was the joy, and even then Senna did so much for him. Ceon ran to the little shop away from Senna and purchased the ribbon with his entire allowance. Ceon then walked back with a big smile and a red face. He didn't know why his face was red, but it was for some reason.
Ceon then bowed a little holding the ribbon up for her to take...
He was hoping she would accept it as a token of his friendship, appreciation, and hopefully something more...
Senna looked startled when Ceon suddenly released her hand and ran off to the booth. She looked on, confused as he bought the ribbon and brought it back to her.
"But Ceon, we can't afford-"
She stopped, seeing the look on Ceon's face. She knew that he had spent all of his personal money on it, seeing her looking at it, and suddenly her eyes filled with tears, but they did not fall.
"Oh, Ceon!" She exclaimed, leaping to embrace him in a tight hug. "You didn't have to do that for me! You are just the sweetest guy..."
Her heart felt like it was going to explode, but she decided to wonder about that later. Right now, she did not care, because it was not a bad feeling, in fact, she had never had a better one.
SCORE!
Ceon was held in the tight hug and melted a little in it. Oh how he loved the sweet embrace of her and not only that, but her scent! She smelt of white plums, a very pleasant smell really. Claire smelt of it while doing her job and she must have shared with Senna for some reason. Ceon didn't know why Senna was wearing his sister’s perfume but it smelt so wonderful. Ceon closed his arms holding the hug with her now. After about 20 seconds Ceon released his arms and tied her hair back with the ribbon. It revealed her face more and really gave more light to her eyes. Ceon thought she really looked beautiful with that dress and look. Any man would be jealous to have such a girl~
Ceon nodded at her looking at her eye to eye with a smile. She looked like she was going to cry for some reason. Ceon just gently ran his hand along her cheek and then jumped out of her grasp. A grin came over his face as he darted off towards the house. It was Ceon's favorite tonight and he didn't want to wait any longer! It was dinner time now and Ceon and Senna can spend more time together after they eat~
Senna smiled as he pulled her hair back and tied it with the new ribbon. She had always felt that red was her color, and usually preferred to wear her mother's red dresses over any other colors, she was very happy that the ribbon matched.
Ceon ran off towards the house, so Senna quickly whipped her eyes and chased after him, the ends of the ribbon blowing behind her.
"Hey, Ceon! Wait up!" She shouted, knowing that she would not get a reply, and that she could not hold him back any longer. Honestly, she was starving herself. He had worn her out in the woods, playing their games, and she had built up an appetite from it all.
It was not long before they arrived at the house, Senna arriving just seconds behind Ceon, out of breath. She pushed opened the door.
"We are home!" She shouted.
Ceon reached the door first and stopped as Senna caught up. He then stood there as she was out of breath and Ceon couldn't help but laugh. She then proceeded to open the door and call out. It was quiet and nobody seemed to be home. Ceon walked into the kitchen to see that dinner was already set up and a note was on the table. It was from Claire, Ceon's older sister. The note said-
Ceon & Senna,
Dinner is on the table. I'm sorry but one of the girls couldn’t come to work today so I went in. Also Ooji-sama [Grandpa] went to the town next door for neighboring plans to stay safe during the war. Stay safe and be good.
Love, Claire
Ceon just set the note down and looked at the food. Claire must have left not too long ago as the food still looked warm. Ceon just waved and pointed at the note so Senna could look at it and he could dig in. Ceon sat down on one side of the table and smiled.
This is kind of like a date!
Ceon got a little red thinking about that and then put his hands together like he was praying and bowed. That was his way of saying Itadakimatsu. After that, Ceon feasted on the delicious Chicken Curry and dumplings!
Senna saw the note Ceon was trying to get her to notice.
"You know," She said for the millionth time, but quite fondly. "I would notice these things just fine if you would simply say 'look at this.'"
She teased him about his usual manner of not speaking, something she had done since they were children, and she would try to get him to talk, although it did not bother her. She had long since accepted him as he was, and would not change him if she could.
She read the note aloud as Ceon sat down to eat. She knew there was no point in reading it to him, he had just read it himself, and she did it more out of habit than anything else. She nodded and set the note aside before taking her spot at the table, across from Ceon. She did see it as strange that the two of them were alone for dinner; however there was no one in the world that she would have rather had the company of then Ceon.
"Itadakimatsu." She said, bowing her head, and then she too began to eat. Occasionally she would touch her new ribbon with her free hand and smile across the table at Ceon, not saying anything. She did not have to.
Ceon was a little bit of a messy eater. He would eat with his hands and not really obey table manners, but what do you expect? He's a 15 year old boy and all boys are messy eaters! Ceon would look up occasionally to see Senna touching the ribbon he got her. It made him happy he was able to impress Senna in such a way. If he could impress Senna every day, he would for the rest of his life! Senna was more than a sister to him; she was his best friend and his crush. He always thought she was pretty and he never had the guts to say it. Shoot, he never had the guts to open his mouth to anything really...
Ceon finished his meal but didn't move. He was a little comfortable sitting across from Senna, just the two of them. It was a lot like a date and it tickled Ceon inside. Someday though he will take her on a real date and it will be beautiful. She will be wearing a nice dress and he will be wearing a male kimono. They will go to a nice restaurant and he will give her flowers. That was his goal, to sweep her off her feet, but right now in this oppression from the war he couldn't do such...
At least not yet...
Ceon just waited until she was done eating with a smile on his face...
Senna was in many ways the opposite of Ceon. She slowly ate her meal, savoring every bite as if it was both the first and the last, and followed her table manners to the T, despite it only being the two of them. She also simply had more energy than him, or most people for that manner. While Ceon was the kind of person who did not mind laying face down in the dirt after a fall, Senna was the type that loved to move, and was frequently seen dancing whether there was music or not, or bouncing on the balls of her feet when she was excited. If anyone was around besides Ceon, she usually could not keep her mouth shut, always throwing in her opinion, or telling stories. When she and Ceon were alone however, she did not feel the need to do this. Between the two of them, sentences could be said with an expression, or a simple motion. She talked to him, a lot, but they could go hours without having to say a word.
She finished her meal, and stood up, taking his dishes and her own, and started to wash them carefully by hand. She had to be extra careful, they could not afford to break any broken dishes, and Senna had been known to drop a few. She did not enjoy this task, but did enjoy the act of accomplishing something, and since Claire had cooked, it was only fair.
Ceon turned and looked outside. The sunset was really quite something tonight as the clouds were gathering over the horizon. With that it gave off a reddish sun flare glow with a hint of purple. All the colors there showed something that reminded him of Senna in a way. Ceon turned and looked at Senna as the light from the sunset beamed in on her. Ceon's eyes open kind of wide as the colors from the setting sky bounced off Senna giving her a radiant glow. It was so marvelous really, and Ceon felt his heart skip a beat. He squirmed a little then stood up and walked over to the entranceway to the washing station where he waited and watched Senna wash the dishes. He wanted her to finish so they could do something like play a game or something else~
as she washed the light that was outside bounced off the curves of her dress and her hair. Her brown eyes looked as wonderful as the purple in the sky matched that of her hair, while the red mixed with the ribbon he had bought her. He was curious to the emotions he was feeling as he watched. Is this was that "love" thing was called? He didn't know for sure, but would he ever know? Ceon just let out a sigh as he eagerly awaited her to finish her task...
Senna carefully finished drying the last dish from their meal, and set it back with the rest of the dishes. She turned and sat back down at the table, across from Ceon, and gazed into his face as the light from the sunset shone onto it, highlighting his features. She smiled at him.
"So what now?" she asked, certainly not ready for bed. It was not often they had an evening alone together.
Ceon watched as she sat down across from him. He just looked away for a moment, and then looked back at her. Ceon reached over the table and grabbed her hands and held them. He smiled at her and held them within his. He then kind of gulped for a moment there as this will be the furthest he's ever gotten, but Ceon leaned in and kissed her hands gently, then in a flash let go and ran. He threw the door open and ran outside down to the street and into the field across the road. There were a lot of rocks around. Large and small and Ceon went behind one of the large rocks kind of shaking...
Oh jeez, oh jeez, oh jeez...
Was what he was thinking...?
He just stood there waiting, curious as to what would happen next? Is he going to get slapped? Is she going to make him become responsible and step up as a man? Is he going to get the next base?
Immediately when he thought that he entered a world of his own, thinking about Senna...
And...
Without the dress on. As he though such his face was red as he was in his own world not paying attention to the things around him.
Senna wondered what Ceon was doing when he held her hands across the table. She was very surprised when he kissed them, her cheeks turned bright red, and she felt as though her stomach tried to jump a foot up in the air. She realized that this is what she craved, this is what those feelings she had been having had been leading up to, developing a more romantic, a more intimate relationship between the two of them, and by him taking this action on his own she felt that it was what he wanted as well.
Her heart suddenly sank as he ran out of the door. She thought that he must have decided he had made a mistake, and been embarrassed about it. While she had just suddenly realized she desired this more than anything, she pushed that aside. She could not force him to have feelings for her, and would not do anything he did not want. Senna could only hope that either he would decide this was what he wanted, or she would grow out of the feelings someday.
In the mean time, Senna was filled with concern for Ceon. She hurried to the door, and looked out, but the sun had gone down too much for her to be able to see where he had gone.
"Ceon! Its okay, we can talk about it! Or we do not have to, just come back!"
Getting no answer from him, like usual, Senna went back inside and sat down, worried. She hoped that he would come back soon.
It was about an hour and a half that Ceon was gone. He was scared to himself and thinking behind the rock about what he did and why he did it. It took him a lot of thought but it was what he knew and what he wanted. Ceon stood up and walked back with his hands inside his shirt. His head hung low as the recent thought of kissing her hands and then running off repeated in his mind. Why did he run? Why didn't he stay to at least see her reaction? She did he have to ask himself so many stupid questions?
Ceon reached the door and opened it slowly. He stepped in and didn't hear a sound and that worried him a little. He walked inside and saw some light from the back as an oil lamp must have been left on. Ceon walked and saw it was Senna sitting alone waiting for him. Ceon was so light and quiet she couldn't hear him. Ceon walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her coming to her level. His head dug into her neck as he held her close to him...
As he did, small sobbing sounds could be heard as if he was crying. Ceon never cries and he wasn't, but it felt like he was about to cry for some reason. Quietly in the back of Senna's ear small words could be heard...
"... I'm sorry..."
He was sorry for running out on her. She was right; they should talk about it instead of just running away. All Ceon was ever good for was fighting, and running. He couldn't just stop for one minute and wait...
She was right, and he was so sorry...
Senna had almost drifted off to sleep, there at the table, when she felt Ceon's arms wrap around her. Anyone else would have caused her to jump, as she had not heard him approach, yet she melted in his embrace. The one thing that did startle her, however, was the softly spoken words. She barely even heard them, despite Ceon hugging her when he said them. It was almost as if she heard someone outside the house say them.
Senna assumed the apology was for the act of kissing her hands. She knew it; he had done it, and then regretted it. Her heart ached in a much worse way then before, but she did not let the ache touch her face.
"There is nothing to be sorry for, Ceon. You got carried away, that's all. I'm just glad your back."
The thing is, Ceon wasn't sorry for the kiss, he was sorry for running away. If anything he wanted to kiss her again. If felt kind of cool and the perfume she wore left a funny taste, but Ceon didn't want to get ahead of him. Doing that again would just be pushing it too far and childish really. When she said he got carried away he didn't really understand. Did she mean carried away as in running away? That was bad really. Ceon never wanted to leave Senna as she was the only person he really knew aside from Claire and Ooji-sama, so leaving Senna behind was something he never wanted to do...
Ceon sat next to Senna and just sat there looking at the wall. He wasn't really thinking straight and didn't know what to do. She was right next to him, and he was a little shaky. Was there something a boy was supposed to do to a girl to make them happy? FLOWERS! Ceon wanted to get her flowers but couldn’t! He didn't want to leave her side after all. SO he had to think of something to do that would make her happy. Boy this was hard to make girls happy. What was she thinking about?
Ceon looked at Senna and focused on her face, then her hair, then the ribbon. That was a nice ribbon he got her! Ceon just smiled a big grin then looked away...
This was reeeeally embarrassing...
Senna studied his face as he sat down next to her, plainly seeing that he was still embarrassed about the event, and would not let her go, however not knowing any better she still thought he was embarrassed about the act of kissing her hands.
"Fine..." Senna sighed. "If you won’t just put such a small thing behind you, then I guess I will have to help."
With that she reached out, and took both of his hands in hers. He marveled at how strong, yet gentle they were, and how large they looked in her delicate hands. She brought his hands to his face, smelling them. They smelled of the forest, where they had played together since they were children, even today. She gently kissed first one hand, and then the other.
Senna let go of Ceon's hands, and tried to gather herself. She was glad that the light from the lamp was so dim; maybe Ceon would not catch her blush. "There. Now we are even."
Ceon's mouth hung open when Senna kissed his hands. What was she doing? Wasn't only supposed to be guys who kissed the girls hands, not the other way around? This was really confusing! He just looked at Senna and the thing is with the lights all dim, he couldn't see her red face by somehow the room had an atmosphere. The lights were dim, the two young ones had a thing for each other, and they were alone. Ceon gulped down as he was nervous looking into the eyes of Senna. They were as beautiful as she sat there looking back at him with her happy-go-lucky attitude...
Ceon sat closer to Senna in hopes of maybe doing it again or something. He didn't know what to expect, but why not try right? How could it hurt? Ceon looked away from Senna trying to think how to do it? Ceon remembered at a restaurant that some guy just really close to the girl and kissed her all slow and all, then he remembers hearing about how a guy gets on top of a girl and does other things. This love thing was so confusing really~
Ceon looked back at Senna with a red face too. How should he do it?
Senna could see why Ceon had run after kissing her hands before, because now she had a strong urge to bolt for the door and disappear into the night. She fought back the urge though, trying to play the whole thing off as no big deal. Senna finally looked at Ceon's face, and seeing him blush felt like she had done the wrong thing.
Still, the feel of her lips touched against him, his lips touched against her when he had kissed her hands, these had been such powerful moments to her. She could not think of them as mistakes, not when they had felt so right. Yet the embarrassment on Ceon's face, the slight blush, these told Senna that he thought they were.
"I...I'm sorry."
NOW!
At that moment Ceon decided to use both methods he thought of together in hopes one would make her happy. Ceon quickly turned throwing both hands on her shoulders, and he pushed down, throwing her back and he looked down at her with big eyes still kind of scared. He gulped again knowing it's now or never, so he went for it. Slowly, Ceon closed his eyes and leaned in kind of roughly, but as sweetly as he could he placed a small kiss on Senna's lips. This was Ceon's first kiss and he didn't know if he was doing it right or not, but he put his heart into it!
Ceon held the kiss for about 5 seconds then threw his eyes open and jumped back now looking at Senna. His breathing was fast and quick as he didn't know what she would think. Was she scared? Was she angry? He didn't know! He just awaited her response now that she knew the answer...
Ceon loves her...
Senna suddenly found herself on the floor, with Ceon hovering over her. She was shocked, Ceon had never acted like this before, and for a moment she was afraid that they were being attacked, that somehow their village had been caught up in the war, and he was protecting her. Then it happened.
He kissed her.
Senna had hoped, dreamed of this very moment, but had never actually expected her first kiss to be from Ceon. She closed her eyes when she realized what was happening, and even after the kiss ended, she did not open them. She simply laid there, with her eyes closed, for a few seconds as Ceon looked down on her.
Finally, she opened her eyes and smiled up at Ceon. Without saying a word, she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him back down, this time kissing him.
She wasn't opening her eyes. This worried Ceon as he began to think he killed her! He was getting scared that he killed her! This wasn't good at all, because this shows that men kill woman with kisses and men are murderers! Ceon was about to run for help, but the pulling of someone's arm yanked his attention from his escape and pulled him back to those soft plump lips he was connected to. Ceon's eyes were wide open in shock as his heart was beating so fast he didn't know what to do. But this proved she was alive! So then kisses paralyze women!!!!
Ceon decided to investigate deeper into kisses later, he was busy~
Ceon wrapped his arms around her lower body, using his elbows to keep himself stable and up so that way he wouldn't fall on her or lay on her. He didn't want to squish her, even though he was only he was only 20 more pounds then her after all. Ceon was into the kiss now, as he closed his eyes and held himself there in her grasp. Senna and Ceon just shared their first kiss together alone in their home under the dim lights...
The spark of a young love for an eternity has begun~
Senna lost track of everything except the contact between her lips and Ceon's. She did not know how much time passed, and could no longer distinguish the end of one kiss, and the beginning of the next. It was if the dam had finally broken, and all of her love for him was flooding out.
At one point, between kisses, she looked deep into the eyes of her love, and told him what was in her heart.
"Ceon...I love you. I love you more than anything."
Again, tears formed in her eyes, and this time they did fall, but she wore a smile on her face. They were tears of joy, of love. She had no idea what she had done to deserve someone like Ceon, but she was so thankful that she had him.
Ceon felt the kiss break and he looked into her eyes. They were tearing up and the tears dropped this time. Ceon thought he hurt her, but when she smiled Ceon knew it was good! Then she responded with her love and Ceon was stunned. The color in his blue eyes began to fade in shock and he began to sweat. The word 'love' wasn't used around Ceon ever since his Parents told Claire and him that they loved him before getting killed before their eyes. Those words scared Ceon, because he thought he was cursed to see everyone he loved die around him, but with Senna, Ceon's felt so much happiness, friendship, and love. He couldn't leave her!
Ceon kept in contact with her eyes looking into the beautiful tan color with such care. Ceon decided right then and there while looking at Senna, that he will be her guardian. He will fight anyone and whoever tries to hurt her with his life. He will fight till his last breath and defend the best he can, and he will promise it with a kiss.
Before that kiss, three small words came from his quiet voice...
"I... Love you... Senna..."
Ceon leaned in slowly having their noses graze each other softly, and then he engaged their lips for a more passionate kiss. Ceon moved his arms from her lower back, up so that she was leaning into the kiss now from below him, and he didn't want to stop. He wanted this to be the most beautiful kiss he's ever given anyone, because that specific kiss meant he will protect her and love her for the rest of eternity, even beyond death...
Senna had never had a more tender moment in her life; she had never found herself filled with so much joy as she returned the kiss, not knowing what it signified to Ceon, but knowing that it was their first kiss after they each proclaimed their love to the other. That made it truly worth remembering, perhaps even more so then their actual first kiss.
Senna knew that this evening would be forever locked in her memory as the best time of her life. Nothing would ever change how she looked back on this evening, nothing could ruin it.
"Ahem."
Senna barely acknowledge the voice, it sounding like it was worlds away.
"AHEM!"
Senna finally broke the kiss, looking up into the face of her grandfather, the village leader, clearly returning from his business in the next village. Senna could do nothing but blush as she realized that Ceon was still on top of her, and they were lying on the floor.
AHEM
that sound broke Senna and Ceon's kiss as they both looked to see the village leader, otherwise known as Senna's grandfather and Ceon's caretaker. The look on Ceon's face was priceless! He was wondering what Ooji-sama was doing back at this hour and how it was annoying it broke their kiss, but then Ceon looked back down, as his mind returned to him. His face grew red and steam came from his ears as he just remembered that: HE'S ON TOP OF THE VILLAGE CHEIF'S DAUGHTER! And to make it worse their age was around the time of marriage and all the other fun things! That was not good, because now this is going to be taken to a greater scale. At least Claire wasn't there to give Ceon hell really...
"I'm Baaack~"
OH DAMN THE LUCK!
Ceon quickly rolled over grabbing Senna's hand and stood her up while helped her up. He CANNOT let Claire see them kissing or laying atop one another, it was bad enough Ooji-sama saw really. As Claire came around the corner and evil grin spread across her face. Ceon's heart was struck with fear at the moment as he didn't know what she was thinking till Claire pointed at the two...
"He's holding your hand Senna, doesn't that mean you two are lovers now~?"
Ceon looked down to see he was still holding her hand. GAH! DAMN IT ALL! CLAIRE AND OOJI-SAMA FOUND OUT! This is not good! Is Ceon going to get kicked out of the house? Is he going to get in trouble? Is he going to get crap from Claire the rest of their life? The last one yes, but the others? Who knows~
Senna's heart sank at hearing Claire's voice, announcing that she was home. Her grandfather she knew she could deal with, she might even be able to handle Claire, but both at once were the worst thing she could think of. Separately, she would have told different stories. Claire she would have confided in, although not the whole truth. Her grandfather she would have hid things from.
It was not that she was ashamed of her relationship with Ceon, in fact she was proud. It was simply that for the past...she didn't even know how long, they had been laying on the floor kissing after finally sharing their feelings, and until they knew where they stood with each other, she did not want to share everything with anyone.
Claire would make fun of Ceon, Senna knew. On the other hand, Claire was Senna's closest friend other then Ceon, and she knew that Claire would be happy for her, for them. Her grandfather, chances are he would overreact in one of two ways. He would kick Ceon, and possibly Claire as well, out of the house, or he would force Ceon and Senna to get married immediately.
Would Ceon want to marry me? Do I want to marry him? Yes, of course I do. But...I wasn’t expecting it so soon, before we could even sit down and talk...Would he marry me?
Senna knew that her only chance to work things out for the time being was to separate Claire and her grandfather. Her grandfather already knew, so she would have to talk to him first, but there was still time to prevent Claire from finding out, if she could just act natural until Claire left the room-
"He's holding your hand Senna, doesn't that mean you two are lovers now~?" Claire asked, almost immediately after entering the room.
Mentally, Senna slammed her palm into her forehead as hard as she could.
Okay, new plan. I have to lie to Claire, and tell Ooji-sama what is going on.
She focused all of her willpower into sending Ceon just one thought.
Ceon...my love, please do not believe what I am saying.
"Oh no!" Senna exclaimed in response to Claire's question. "I simply tripped and he was helping me up, that’s all. Thanks Ceon!" She removed her hand from his, though desperately wanted that contact between them to return.
"Really?" Her grandfather asked. Senna froze. "Because from what I saw, you two were locked in a very deep kiss, down on the ground."
"What?!" Claire asked, excited. "I knew it!"
Senna's heart sunk. She was out of ideas.
I'm dead...
That was all that was in Ceon's mind. He couldn't do a thing and just wanted to forget everything. If he could just die and start over he would, because this was going to be his end. His sister found out what happened and Ceon was going to get reamed. Ceon stood a little limp awaiting the punishment from Ooji-sama and the torture from Claire. It was about to be hammered down on the boy as he awaited his beat down...
"Well, I guess that means my granddaughter finally found someone. I was afraid she would never find a man or someone to be with, but I guess she found one. Ceon, I'd be proud to call you my grandson~"
That made Ceon snap from a worthless attitude to a WTF!? WHAT WAS GOING ON?! Claire then jumped in with her evil antics, yet how cute she was, she loved torturing her little brother and little sister~
"OH! Ooji-sama, can I be the maid of honor!? Oh it will be so beautiful~ Senna and Ceon, ohhh myyy~ your children will be SO CUTE!!!"
Hearing Claire's words made Ceon fall face first into the floor. He couldn't help it anymore. He was hallucinating! I mean, Ooji-sama is a reeeeally nice old man, but he just saw Ceon kissing his granddaughter and Claire the most evil of big sisters was praising them! WHAT KIND OF EVIL ALTERNATE UNIVERSE IS THIS!?
But one thing is for sure...
Ceon and Senna knew their love for each other, and now...
Ceon felt like he could talk to her...
Senna stood there, stunned. She could not believe what both her grandfather and Claire had said. She decided she was dreaming, there was no other explanation. She and Ceon had fallen asleep when on the floor...no, the whole thing was a dream. That explained everything.
Subconsciously she reached down and grabbed Ceon's hand again, and gave it a squeeze. This brought her to her senses, she knew it was real. For the third time that evening, she found herself near tears as she looked back and forth between the smiling faces of her grandfather and Claire.
"Well, I think Ceon and I have a lot of things to talk about before we get that far...wait a minute, what do you mean you were afraid I wouldn’t find someone, Ooji-sama?!"
Senna glared at the old man in mock anger and they all laughed.
"I didn't mean anything by it my dear, just that I never saw you with any boys other then Ceon, and well, I didn't think either of you would ever start anything, even though the rest of us knew you both wanted it." Her grandfather told her, winking at Claire, who smirked at them.
Senna let go of Ceon's hand to rush over and hug first her grandfather, and then Claire. Quickly she was back by Ceon, holding hands once more. As far as she was concerned, she never wanted to let go.
Ceon was still lying on the floor, facing the wooden ground as he felt Senna grab his hand. Then he felt her let go to go hug Ooji-sama and Claire, then grab his hand again, but this time when she grabbed it, it was tight, and something was behind it. Ceon looked up from the floor and looked at Senna as she was so happy holding his hand. He then looked at Claire and Ooji-sama, still thinking they are the evil twins of an alternate universe there to kill them or steal their kidneys. Ceon let out a long sigh as he stood up now standing next to Senna. The picture of the two next to each other holding hands was something quite beautiful really.
Ceon walked right passed Ooji-sama and Claire and took Senna outside. The stars were out and it was so beautiful! Claire wanted to follow for some more dirt on the two, but Ooji-sama stopped her and told her to rest, she's had a long day. Claire just smiled and went to the bath.
Ceon took Senna over to a small creek and sat down on a nearby rock. He looked up at the stars as they were gleaming that night really brightly. He then looked at Senna as if he wanted to do something but it scared him. He took a deep breath, then did something really out of the ordinary...
'... I'm ready..."
Senna could not help but smile as Ceon led her out of the house, and to the creek nearby. They sat down, and she stared up at the stars in the same wonder she always did, never able to get used to the marvels held in the night sky. Each star hung like a jewel, appearing as though if she could reach high enough, she could take one.
She looked at Ceon happily, but he seemed to have a worried look on his face. Her face quickly turned to concern, and then he spoke.
Twice in one night... She marveled.
"Ready for what?" she asked, truly unsure of what he meant.
Ceon looked at her and smiled. A slight breeze blew by as he watched the red ribbon he got her glide in the wind. It waved back and forth gently as well as her hair. She had a concerned look, but what for? He didn't want to say anything that would concern her. It's just, Ceon always enjoyed quiet and especially since his parents died he never talked, but since Senna and he were open with each other now, it seems there is someone he can trust. To Ceon, trust was a huge thing as it signified the opening to a door of light, and that light is very sacred! In the case of Senna's light it was warm and loving, telling him that she was in love with him. That's when Ceon opened the door to his heart to Senna...
He grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes. To most men, a sign of trust to girls would be a kiss or a small gift, but he already did both, and to Ceon, the biggest sign of trust was his communication...
He took another breath and then gave her the sign...
"To talk... To you..."
Senna's eyes grew wide. She knew what a big deal this was for Ceon. She had grown so used to his silence that she was used to it, and each time he said anything it shocked her. She loved hearing his voice, so soft, so full of emotion, as rarely as it was used.
Senna knew how important this moment was, and she could not bring herself to talk. She talked all the time, but this was Ceon's turn now. She could only nod to him, and eagerly wait to see what it was he would say.
Ceon could see that Senna could only nod and all. Ceon laughed at that and thought it was cute of her to give him a turn and all. He took a deep breath as this was not only big for Senna to hear him, but it was big for Ceon. He was coming out of his boundaries and going to speak. Talking was the reason his parents were dead and that's when he swore himself to silence, which was funny because people thought he was a mute anyways. Even before that dreadful day, Ceon would hardly or never talk, so this was indeed big...
-sigh-
"... I never really liked to talk. I believed that speaking and communication through words only lead to demise, drama, and death. Proof when my parents died. They didn't have to even talk, if they were quiet they could be alive to this day and still healing people, but because they spoke, they are dead now, and that image of watching them die before me will never escape my mind..."
His voice was kind of quiet as that subject was a very sensitive one, but then Ceon's eyes began to tear as he smiled looking at her with happy longing eyes...
"But since we were kids and even to this day, I’ve had the biggest crush on you. I've always wanted to be that special one to you, I was just scared, but now that I know your real feelings I want to say it.... Senna, I love you..."
Ceon then had a big smile on his face as the stars and the bright moonlight shun down on the two by the creek. This was something that neither should ever forget...
Ever...
Senna was amazed, she had never heard him say so much for as long as she had known him, and it had been beautiful, making her both sad and full of joy at the same time. She had no idea he was even capable of expressing himself like this. For once, she could not find anything to say, even though she wanted to.
Instead she simply kissed him. There, under the stars, under the moon, and the heavens opened up above them, they shared their most tender, and longest kiss yet. When she finally broke the kiss, she looked deep into his eyes, and found the words she had wanted.
"You should never feel afraid to talk to me, Ceon, but I understand. I love you, I love you more than anything, and if you never say another word, that will not change anything. Yet, when you do speak like this, I will savor every word as I do now, and I will listen." She paused. "I did not understand my feelings before today, but whenever I am around you, I was filled with so much love and joy it almost hurt. I have wanted to be with you for so long too, and I never want to be away from you. I want nothing more than for us to be together for the rest of our lives, and our next lives, and the next, until the end of time."
She whipped her eyes before meeting his again.
"Will you accept me, as I am?"
When she delivered the kiss Ceon knew what she thought on his words. She must have appreciated it, and that was his goal. Ceon sat there as she spoke, taking in every word she expressed and said. Each syllable she spoke rang in Ceon's head as a melodic tune. Her words were so beautiful and the way she expressed them so whole-heartedly and it meant a lot to him. When she said in the next life and the next, Ceon smiled. He couldn't have thought any better really. Senna was his only friend and his love, and the fact she was so accepting of him no matter the case was a big relief.
However...
When she asked if he would accept her for who she is, Ceon didn't know how to take that. What did she mean? Ceon would have easily agreed with the first statement but the second got him by surprise really...
"What do you mean? You’re the same Senna I've always know! I've always accepted you as you are..."
Tears freely flowed down Senna's cheeks, sparkling as they reflected tiny pricks of star light.
"Because I am loud, I nag you too much, I know it! But you never seemed to mind..."
She buried her head in his shoulder, wrapping her arms around him.
"Thank you." she whispered.
This night could not get more perfect...
Ceon listened to her when she cried a little exclaiming how she was loud and all that. Ceon really didn't mind, he actually thought it was funny! Come on, not everyone can be like him, otherwise the world would be too quiet. Senna made his world colorful and with expression, without her, Ceon would be dull and worst of all, heartless. She technically saved him from a fate worse than death. Her company broke his shell and brought him into the world.
As she buried her head into his shoulder, and she wrapped her arms around him, Ceon just did the same quietly. He just let his arms get a hold of her and he brought her close to his body. Senna really was a sweetheart and he wanted her to have everything. He wanted to be her everything, and she was his everything. His left hand stroked her hair softly as she cried in his arms. This night was beautiful indeed as the two together under the moonlight held each other in their arms spending together a true time of passion.
After several minutes Senna leaned back and whipped her eyes with her long sleeve.
"Oh, look at me, I am ruining this perfect moment between us..." she said as she dried her tears.
Senna looked back to Ceon when she was done, and again found herself not knowing what to say, so she said nothing. She looked deep into his eyes, feeling she could get lost in them forever, and cupped her hand around his cheek, gently stroking his face.
Ceon watched as she leaned back and dried her tears. She then looked at him with loving eyes and cupped his cheek. Ceon closed his eyes placing his hand over hers and then putting his hand on her chin. Her skin was indeed soft and smooth as he ran his hand along her jaw line. His eyes were into hers, as he leaned in slowly. He wanted to give her another kiss, and this time a sweet one. He was also hoping this time he would build up the courage for third base or something, so he would have to move now!
Ceon leaned in, but as he did, his balance on the rock was messed up. Ceon slipped down, and fell into the creek making a splash. Ceon sat in the water as his hair was over his eyes. Ceon's white hair was as long as Senna's but was always out of his eyes. Now it was in his eyes as the water dripped from his hair and soaked clothes. He was shivering as the water was really cold and he looked at Senna as if his cat just died. Ceon looked so sad because his chance for third base just went out the window...
Talk about fail~
Senna could not help but giggle when Ceon fell into the creek, and when he came back up, dripping wet with his hair in his eyes, her giggle turned into all out laughter. Senna held onto her sides, she was laughing so hard they hurt, and fell onto her back the opposite way that Ceon had fallen, so she landed on the ground.
She quickly got up, and extended her hand to Ceon to help pull him up. "Come on, let's get you home," she said, with a large grin on her face.
Ceon sat up and grabbed her hand shivering. It was so cold, and cold was not a great thing for Ceon. As she led him back, he moved his hair out of his eyes and he looked at Senna to see a large grin on her face. What was she grinning about? Ceon just looked at her getting paler and paler because of the cold. Her hand was warm as he held it in his hand and somewhat tightly because he didn't want to let go...
Each step was a slosh and he was dripping wet from all his cloths. His pants hung low and were covering his feet as his shirt was now open and revealing his chest. Ceon didn't mind that as he loved the loose feeling! It made him feel free and all, so he might do that from now on too! Hopefully Senna doesn't get mad that he will do that. Ceon and open bare chest might lead to bad things...
Or maybe not?
They approached the house and Ceon was going to head in back and prepare the bath. The best part is that there is a natural hot spring in the back of the house. Thank god this village was in the forest on the mountain line. Because of that the natural springs were nice. Ceon was going to get some warm clothes and and warm up in the spring and then go to bed. That sounded like a plan really! Nice end to a perfect day~
As they went inside the house, Senna verified her grandfather was asleep, however Claire was not. As Ceon went to take a bath, Senna was forced to share the details of what had happened with Claire. Senna could not mind though, she loved the chance to tell someone. She had hated the idea of keeping the relationship they were developing a secret.
"How long were you two on the floor?" Claire asked.
"I have no idea..." Senna confessed with a blush. Claire laughed.
Finally Claire went to bed, and Senna could feel herself coming closer and closer to drifting off, but she fought to keep herself awake, wanting one last kiss from Ceon on the first day they were together.
Ceon went in back to the springs and jumped in naked. He just sat in the water blowing bubbles and smiling while watching them pop. The memories of the day went through his mind as he sat there warming up. It was nothing he could ever forget really, as this was possibly the greatest day of his life since that horrid indecent! After about 20 minutes Ceon got out of the spring and dried himself off, then throwing some fresh clothes on. It was again long black pants, but the thing is, it's a warm night, so Ceon decided no shirt would be fine. Ceon threw his wet clothes on the line to dry and then walked inside to hear the house was quiet. He walked through the house to realize that everyone went to bed, but one light was still on! It has to be Senna.
Ceon walked in to see Senna getting sleepy once again. He walked in and shut the door behind up and just walked then sat across from Senna. He looked at her and smiling as to tell her he was all clean now and all warm. You could still feel the heat from the spring emitting from his skin...
Senna gave Ceon a sleepy smile, then again wrapped her arms around him and laid her head on his chest. She absorbed his warmth, feeling totally safe and at ease. She leaned up, and gave him a quick kiss, then leaned her head back into his chest.
Within minutes, she had fallen asleep, still sitting up, leaning on Ceon, breathing softly across his naked chest.
Ceon watched and then was shocked as Senna went into his chest and buried herself there. Ceon didn't know what to do really, but when she delivered that kiss, Ceon's face went completely red. He watched as she dozed off into sleep on his bare chest and it was so cute really. Ceon just put his hand through her hair and felt the beautiful softness that was there. Her hair was really nice for the living conditions of their town. Claire must be showing her some tricks if her hair is this nice.
Ceon slowly, without disturbing her, picked her up and carried her to his futon. He didn't think it would be bad if she slept with him really, so he placed her in his bed and then laid next to her. He without even thinking about it, latched himself to her by wrapping his arms around her waist and placed his head above hers so she could nuzzle in his neck. The two could sleep warmly together all night, without disturbance and share their first night together~
"Geez you guys move fast."
Senna opened her eyes, hearing the voice. She wondered where she was, and felt Ceon wrapped around her. She had been dreaming sweet dreams of him all night long. She remembered holding him last night, and must have fallen asleep. She then realized that Claire had been the one to speak, waking her up.
"So, did you guys..." Claire started, but trailed off.
"No, it's not like that at all!" Senna responded quietly, not wanting to wake Ceon.
Was it?
"Whatever. Ooji-sama has already left, and I am off for work. Just don't go at it like rabbits all day, okay?" With that, Claire left the blushing Senna alone with Ceon.
Senna carefully turned, trying to wake Ceon, so she could watch him sleep.
Ceon continued to sleep through Senna and Claries conversation. He didn't want to wake either as his dream was of him and Senna together on a mountain top, the highest place they could go, and looking over the land holding each other’s hands. This dream was so marvelous it even had a happy ending for the boy as he dreamed it. As he slept, he stayed quiet, mouth closed and breathing from his nose. His arms were still wrapped around Senna as he didn't want to let go. He couldn't let go! He had to be with her, and he can't be without her. As he continued to sleep, a small mutter came from Ceon's mouth as he dreamed...
"Mmm... Senna... More..."
He was dreaming Senna and him were playing a fun game and she was wanting to stop. Ceon begged her to keep going because this was so much fun! As he slept, he moved closer to her, pulling her to him and being tighter. His warm body shared it's heat as his heart beat rapidly for her. All he had to do was see her, and his heart skipped a beat...
Senna really was his perfect girl~
Senna had never heard Ceon talk in his sleep before, but it sounded as though he was dreaming of her, just as she had been dreaming of him.
Must be all that talking he did yesterday, maybe it opened him up some!
Ceon pulled her tighter to him, as if afraid she was going to leave. The thought had never crossed her mind. Still, now he was holding her a little too tight, not enough to hurt, but enough to make her a little uncomfortable. And something did not feel right, something felt out of place...
Senna's eyes grew wide.
As they slept in the night, Ceon somehow ended up lower then Senna as his head was at her chest level now. As he pulled her in more and more, his head snuggled into her chest as he dreamed of the two together. His arms went a little lower and was now holding the top of her bottom as he continued to hold Senna. He was giggling and drooling a little for some odd reason no one knew. His dream was really pleasant, but the warmth and feeling he was getting was even better...
Suddenly everything cut short and Ceon opened his eyes a little to see his head was in her chest and he was wrapped to her. He looked up to see Senna in shock and he didn't understaaaaaaand till he felt what was out of place...
Ceon's face went red and he turned so quickly to bury his face and curl up in embarrassment...
Did she hate him now?
Senna did not know how to handle this situation. Should she be mad, or flattered by what had happened? Before Ceon even opened his eyes, she knew she could not be mad at him, and was trying to decide if she should act like she was.
When Ceon did wake up, and realized what was going on, burying his head in her chest, she knew he was embarrassed about it. Senna realized that they were both overreacting. When they had decided they wanted each other in their lives for as long as they lived, they had decided they wanted all of each other. Senna simply had not expected to become so well acquainted with him so soon. When she considered it, she loved him with all of her heart, and she would not make any exceptions for any part of him. Instead of embarrassing him further, she would ignore it.
She stroked Ceon's hair, his face still buried in her chest.
Just how embarrassed is he, anyway?
"Good morning Ceon. Did you sleep well?"
Ceon didn't know how to react. He didn't know what to do even! Was this offensive to her? Was she instead happy by it? He didn't know how to respond! He didn't want to know really, so he kept his head in her chest not moving or showing his face. But one thing was certain and it was she smelt very good. Ceon took a deep breath and inhaled her scent and began to stroke his hands rubbing her back, trying to calm her down if he could...
After she asked Ceon the question he looked up at her scared. His face beet red and he took a big gulp as he tried to smile at her. His smile was really pathetic really. He did like his dream, especially the part where they played together. It was so fun and really something he'd treasure forever...
Ceon whispered...
"G... Good..."
Senna smiled, comfortingly. She could tell he was very embarrassed, and while she was too, she couldn’t stand seeing him in any kind of discomfort. She doubted she ever would.
"Good, good. Me too. Sooo..." She trailed off, glancing down in the direction of their feet. She loved him, she loved ever part of him, but it was quite awkward, and not getting better. "I'm going to get up...to make us breakfast."
She did not move however, she was stuck in his tight embrace.

Ceon finally loosened himself and let go of her. As he did, he rolled over laying on his other side away from her. He didn't want to get out from under the covers and reveal his 'problem'. He just tried to play it off like he was going to sleep a little longer and he waited. He needed her to leave really quick so he can jump out the window and pour cold water on himself. Ceon has heard that was the best trick to removing problem's like his....
I'm sorry~ was all Ceon could think for 'touching' Senna so inappropriately...
Senna got up quickly.
What an awkward way to start our first morning together. I just know he feels bad...maybe I should say something.
"Uh...Ceon? It was...nice." She blushed and hurried into the kitchen to start working on breakfast for the two of them.
WHAT WAS THAT!?
Ceon quickly burst up to look as Senna had run off. It's funny really, both of them are hopeless. Ceon shows a bit of affection and he disappears, and Senna does the same from the looks of it. They were indeed young, but love was so strong in them. Ceon looked down at himself, and adjusted so he can show himself in public without embarrassing himself...
Ceon then got up and walked downstairs looking around the corner to see Senna cooking. She was so beautiful in the morning sunrise, especially with it being fall out. The colors of the horizon with her natural array makes her beyond the most beautiful thing he's ever seen. Ceon slowly walked up behind Senna and wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzling his face in her neck. She said she thought it was nice? Well he'll show her nice...

Senna squealed loudly when Ceon wrapped his arms around her. She had not heard him coming, and hadn't expected him to follow so soon. She felt his face on her neck, and giggled.
"Ceon, stop, I'm going to burn the eggs!" She said, playfully, and clearly not wanting him to stop. "What's gotten into you this morning?"
She whipped one hand on a towel, and took Ceons hand, squeezing it gently.
No, this is how I want to wake up, ever day, for all eternity...
What's gotten into him? She has gotten into his heart, taking him by control. He didn't know exactly what he was doing, but something was telling him how to do it. He just followed this intuition into showing affection towards Senna. His right hand was being gripped by hers gently, and he moved his wrist so he could grip back. His left hand then began to explore her curves as he was curious about her and wanted to get a good feel...
He then smiled gently and planted a small kiss on her neck, then down to her shoulders, slowly moving the dress she was still wearing out of the way. Her dress hung off her shoulders as he kissed her neck and shoulders while holding her there. Ceon's heart was beating really fast as he followed it when it told him what to do. He must be doing everything right he guessed...
Senna stood there, not sure what she should do at this point, but making no move to stop Ceon. She wanted this, she knew that she did, and if he felt that they were ready, then she would do anything he wanted.
Ceon then carried her into his room that morning where the two shared their first intimate touch together and made love for the first time. At the end of the session Ceon and Senna laid together as the morning sun peered through the window.
This was Ceon's opportunity. He didn't want to leave her, but he had to quickly clean the mess the two made and pick her dress up, and get dressed. Claire and Ooji-sama would be back within an hour or two and he had to make sure they didn't know. Ceon very gracefully escaped Senna's grip and got to the edge of the bed. He looked back at her
That was the noise of a 16 year old boy hitting the dirt road hard. He has white hair, medium length, blue eyes, and stood at 5'10". He was wearing black samurai pants and a white traditional work shirt. The boy's name was Ceon and he was walking home from the forest with a dear friend of his. Her name was Senna and the two have been friends for years since they were little. Ceon and his older sister Claire, who was 18 now, lived in the town Chiefs house which was Senna's grandfather. Now the question of why Ceon's face is in the dirt is simple really. He's a lazy klutz and he tripped over a rock. Ceon was too embarrassed to stand so he just laid there wishing he was dead.
He knew Senna was going to pester him and give him a hard time. Ceon really didn't want to hear it about now anyways, as it was getting late and dinner was soon. Claire was home that night and making Ceon's favorite of a chicken curry with white rice and dumplings. Oh how the days just got better and better, but still, Ceon laid there in the dirt not wanting to get up...
"Well, this is what you get for never looking where you are going!" Senna said, shaking her head. She wore a light red, almost pink, dress with white edges and designs covering it. The sleeves were too long for her as it was her mother's dress, from before she had died. Senna was a bit smaller then her mother had been, but was not fully grown, and expected to grow into the dress long before discarding or modifying it, so the sleeves dwarfed her arms, and she did not mind, since the bottom no longer drug on the ground when she wore it. Her long, dark black hair that had a hint of purple in the right lighting was blowing in the breeze.
Senna bent over and grabbed one of Ceon's hands with both of her own, not bothering to push her sleeves back. She hauled him up. "Come on, we need to get back, or did you forget that Claire is making your favorite food? Maybe you just want it cold?"
Ceon was picked up and the dirt fell from his face and clothes. He had an annoyed look on his face as he was lifted by Senna. Ceon just looked at her with a small smile as he stood up on his own. For some reason Senna was taller than him by a little. Ceon must not have grown all the way it seems, and still had some time. Ceon just grabbed her hand and walked with her slowly heading back. He knew Claire was making his favorite tonight and all, but he wanted to take his time. He had a real nice time with Senna back at the forest just the two of them. The way she grabbed the stick and handled it made her look like a real pro, and Ceon made her scream a few times too...
Yeah that's right, they were playing Samurai. Senna was using a stick as a sword and Ceon was a ninja. He would pop out and scare her making her scream a few times!
As the two walked hand in hand it looked so cute with the two. They entered their small village as the sun was setting and they passed the grave yard. Ceon stopped and looked inside it seeing 3 tomb stones next to each other. Senna's mother and Ceon's parents. It's been about a year since their death and the war was still going on. It was hard to believe Ceon wasn't recruited into war yet, as he was of age. Claire did a good job of keeping them as safe as she could. They were all thankful for that...
Ceon then smiled and bowed to them as he took Senna's hand again and they entered the village heading to the top of the hill where they lived...
Senna also bowed, respectfully, to the tomb stones, before continuing on with Ceon. She squeezed his hand through her sleeve with her own, happy for the touch. The two of them, and Claire, had lived together for so long that she considered them not only her best friends, but the siblings that she had never had. Though lately she could feel nothing but joy when seeing Ceon, sometimes her heart felt like it would burst when he would do something nice for her, or the few times that he spoke. She did not quite understand this; it was not the same way with Claire. She ended the thought process there when they got into town.
As they walked through the small market Senna looked around eagerly, as she always did. She always felt the need to purchase some sort of treasure, whether it was a particularly red apple, or a strange new toy said to be from a far off land, she did not care.
She sighed. Money was tight, even though her father was the head of the village. These days if her treasures were not needed food for the family, she had to imagine taking them home, and commit them to her memory. Still, when she saw a long red ribbon hanging at one of the seller's booths, her eyes fell on it and did not move. Even as she and Ceon kept walking, she turned her head enough to keep staring at it, not realizing that she was doing so.
As they walked he could feel her grip tighten. Ceon guessed that meant she was really happy or something, but it made him happy too. As they walked through the town Senna looked everywhere for some type of souvenir that she called treasure. Ceon thought it was funny and watched her as she looked around, but then he noticed she was starring at something. Ceon looked at what she was starring at, and it was a long red ribbon. Did she have interest in that item? Ceon was wondering that till he accidentally bumped into some guys that were drinking.
HEY! Watch where you’re going kid...
Ceon just nodded and then looked at that ribbon too. He knew money was tight, but Ceon has been saving his allowance. He didn't really have anything to get anyways as just spending his time with Senna was the joy, and even then Senna did so much for him. Ceon ran to the little shop away from Senna and purchased the ribbon with his entire allowance. Ceon then walked back with a big smile and a red face. He didn't know why his face was red, but it was for some reason.
Ceon then bowed a little holding the ribbon up for her to take...
He was hoping she would accept it as a token of his friendship, appreciation, and hopefully something more...
Senna looked startled when Ceon suddenly released her hand and ran off to the booth. She looked on, confused as he bought the ribbon and brought it back to her.
"But Ceon, we can't afford-"
She stopped, seeing the look on Ceon's face. She knew that he had spent all of his personal money on it, seeing her looking at it, and suddenly her eyes filled with tears, but they did not fall.
"Oh, Ceon!" She exclaimed, leaping to embrace him in a tight hug. "You didn't have to do that for me! You are just the sweetest guy..."
Her heart felt like it was going to explode, but she decided to wonder about that later. Right now, she did not care, because it was not a bad feeling, in fact, she had never had a better one.
SCORE!
Ceon was held in the tight hug and melted a little in it. Oh how he loved the sweet embrace of her and not only that, but her scent! She smelt of white plums, a very pleasant smell really. Claire smelt of it while doing her job and she must have shared with Senna for some reason. Ceon didn't know why Senna was wearing his sister’s perfume but it smelt so wonderful. Ceon closed his arms holding the hug with her now. After about 20 seconds Ceon released his arms and tied her hair back with the ribbon. It revealed her face more and really gave more light to her eyes. Ceon thought she really looked beautiful with that dress and look. Any man would be jealous to have such a girl~
Ceon nodded at her looking at her eye to eye with a smile. She looked like she was going to cry for some reason. Ceon just gently ran his hand along her cheek and then jumped out of her grasp. A grin came over his face as he darted off towards the house. It was Ceon's favorite tonight and he didn't want to wait any longer! It was dinner time now and Ceon and Senna can spend more time together after they eat~
Senna smiled as he pulled her hair back and tied it with the new ribbon. She had always felt that red was her color, and usually preferred to wear her mother's red dresses over any other colors, she was very happy that the ribbon matched.
Ceon ran off towards the house, so Senna quickly whipped her eyes and chased after him, the ends of the ribbon blowing behind her.
"Hey, Ceon! Wait up!" She shouted, knowing that she would not get a reply, and that she could not hold him back any longer. Honestly, she was starving herself. He had worn her out in the woods, playing their games, and she had built up an appetite from it all.
It was not long before they arrived at the house, Senna arriving just seconds behind Ceon, out of breath. She pushed opened the door.
"We are home!" She shouted.
Ceon reached the door first and stopped as Senna caught up. He then stood there as she was out of breath and Ceon couldn't help but laugh. She then proceeded to open the door and call out. It was quiet and nobody seemed to be home. Ceon walked into the kitchen to see that dinner was already set up and a note was on the table. It was from Claire, Ceon's older sister. The note said-
Ceon & Senna,
Dinner is on the table. I'm sorry but one of the girls couldn’t come to work today so I went in. Also Ooji-sama [Grandpa] went to the town next door for neighboring plans to stay safe during the war. Stay safe and be good.
Love, Claire
Ceon just set the note down and looked at the food. Claire must have left not too long ago as the food still looked warm. Ceon just waved and pointed at the note so Senna could look at it and he could dig in. Ceon sat down on one side of the table and smiled.
This is kind of like a date!
Ceon got a little red thinking about that and then put his hands together like he was praying and bowed. That was his way of saying Itadakimatsu. After that, Ceon feasted on the delicious Chicken Curry and dumplings!
Senna saw the note Ceon was trying to get her to notice.
"You know," She said for the millionth time, but quite fondly. "I would notice these things just fine if you would simply say 'look at this.'"
She teased him about his usual manner of not speaking, something she had done since they were children, and she would try to get him to talk, although it did not bother her. She had long since accepted him as he was, and would not change him if she could.
She read the note aloud as Ceon sat down to eat. She knew there was no point in reading it to him, he had just read it himself, and she did it more out of habit than anything else. She nodded and set the note aside before taking her spot at the table, across from Ceon. She did see it as strange that the two of them were alone for dinner; however there was no one in the world that she would have rather had the company of then Ceon.
"Itadakimatsu." She said, bowing her head, and then she too began to eat. Occasionally she would touch her new ribbon with her free hand and smile across the table at Ceon, not saying anything. She did not have to.
Ceon was a little bit of a messy eater. He would eat with his hands and not really obey table manners, but what do you expect? He's a 15 year old boy and all boys are messy eaters! Ceon would look up occasionally to see Senna touching the ribbon he got her. It made him happy he was able to impress Senna in such a way. If he could impress Senna every day, he would for the rest of his life! Senna was more than a sister to him; she was his best friend and his crush. He always thought she was pretty and he never had the guts to say it. Shoot, he never had the guts to open his mouth to anything really...
Ceon finished his meal but didn't move. He was a little comfortable sitting across from Senna, just the two of them. It was a lot like a date and it tickled Ceon inside. Someday though he will take her on a real date and it will be beautiful. She will be wearing a nice dress and he will be wearing a male kimono. They will go to a nice restaurant and he will give her flowers. That was his goal, to sweep her off her feet, but right now in this oppression from the war he couldn't do such...
At least not yet...
Ceon just waited until she was done eating with a smile on his face...
Senna was in many ways the opposite of Ceon. She slowly ate her meal, savoring every bite as if it was both the first and the last, and followed her table manners to the T, despite it only being the two of them. She also simply had more energy than him, or most people for that manner. While Ceon was the kind of person who did not mind laying face down in the dirt after a fall, Senna was the type that loved to move, and was frequently seen dancing whether there was music or not, or bouncing on the balls of her feet when she was excited. If anyone was around besides Ceon, she usually could not keep her mouth shut, always throwing in her opinion, or telling stories. When she and Ceon were alone however, she did not feel the need to do this. Between the two of them, sentences could be said with an expression, or a simple motion. She talked to him, a lot, but they could go hours without having to say a word.
She finished her meal, and stood up, taking his dishes and her own, and started to wash them carefully by hand. She had to be extra careful, they could not afford to break any broken dishes, and Senna had been known to drop a few. She did not enjoy this task, but did enjoy the act of accomplishing something, and since Claire had cooked, it was only fair.
Ceon turned and looked outside. The sunset was really quite something tonight as the clouds were gathering over the horizon. With that it gave off a reddish sun flare glow with a hint of purple. All the colors there showed something that reminded him of Senna in a way. Ceon turned and looked at Senna as the light from the sunset beamed in on her. Ceon's eyes open kind of wide as the colors from the setting sky bounced off Senna giving her a radiant glow. It was so marvelous really, and Ceon felt his heart skip a beat. He squirmed a little then stood up and walked over to the entranceway to the washing station where he waited and watched Senna wash the dishes. He wanted her to finish so they could do something like play a game or something else~
as she washed the light that was outside bounced off the curves of her dress and her hair. Her brown eyes looked as wonderful as the purple in the sky matched that of her hair, while the red mixed with the ribbon he had bought her. He was curious to the emotions he was feeling as he watched. Is this was that "love" thing was called? He didn't know for sure, but would he ever know? Ceon just let out a sigh as he eagerly awaited her to finish her task...
Senna carefully finished drying the last dish from their meal, and set it back with the rest of the dishes. She turned and sat back down at the table, across from Ceon, and gazed into his face as the light from the sunset shone onto it, highlighting his features. She smiled at him.
"So what now?" she asked, certainly not ready for bed. It was not often they had an evening alone together.
Ceon watched as she sat down across from him. He just looked away for a moment, and then looked back at her. Ceon reached over the table and grabbed her hands and held them. He smiled at her and held them within his. He then kind of gulped for a moment there as this will be the furthest he's ever gotten, but Ceon leaned in and kissed her hands gently, then in a flash let go and ran. He threw the door open and ran outside down to the street and into the field across the road. There were a lot of rocks around. Large and small and Ceon went behind one of the large rocks kind of shaking...
Oh jeez, oh jeez, oh jeez...
Was what he was thinking...?
He just stood there waiting, curious as to what would happen next? Is he going to get slapped? Is she going to make him become responsible and step up as a man? Is he going to get the next base?
Immediately when he thought that he entered a world of his own, thinking about Senna...
And...
Without the dress on. As he though such his face was red as he was in his own world not paying attention to the things around him.
Senna wondered what Ceon was doing when he held her hands across the table. She was very surprised when he kissed them, her cheeks turned bright red, and she felt as though her stomach tried to jump a foot up in the air. She realized that this is what she craved, this is what those feelings she had been having had been leading up to, developing a more romantic, a more intimate relationship between the two of them, and by him taking this action on his own she felt that it was what he wanted as well.
Her heart suddenly sank as he ran out of the door. She thought that he must have decided he had made a mistake, and been embarrassed about it. While she had just suddenly realized she desired this more than anything, she pushed that aside. She could not force him to have feelings for her, and would not do anything he did not want. Senna could only hope that either he would decide this was what he wanted, or she would grow out of the feelings someday.
In the mean time, Senna was filled with concern for Ceon. She hurried to the door, and looked out, but the sun had gone down too much for her to be able to see where he had gone.
"Ceon! Its okay, we can talk about it! Or we do not have to, just come back!"
Getting no answer from him, like usual, Senna went back inside and sat down, worried. She hoped that he would come back soon.
It was about an hour and a half that Ceon was gone. He was scared to himself and thinking behind the rock about what he did and why he did it. It took him a lot of thought but it was what he knew and what he wanted. Ceon stood up and walked back with his hands inside his shirt. His head hung low as the recent thought of kissing her hands and then running off repeated in his mind. Why did he run? Why didn't he stay to at least see her reaction? She did he have to ask himself so many stupid questions?
Ceon reached the door and opened it slowly. He stepped in and didn't hear a sound and that worried him a little. He walked inside and saw some light from the back as an oil lamp must have been left on. Ceon walked and saw it was Senna sitting alone waiting for him. Ceon was so light and quiet she couldn't hear him. Ceon walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her coming to her level. His head dug into her neck as he held her close to him...
As he did, small sobbing sounds could be heard as if he was crying. Ceon never cries and he wasn't, but it felt like he was about to cry for some reason. Quietly in the back of Senna's ear small words could be heard...
"... I'm sorry..."
He was sorry for running out on her. She was right; they should talk about it instead of just running away. All Ceon was ever good for was fighting, and running. He couldn't just stop for one minute and wait...
She was right, and he was so sorry...
Senna had almost drifted off to sleep, there at the table, when she felt Ceon's arms wrap around her. Anyone else would have caused her to jump, as she had not heard him approach, yet she melted in his embrace. The one thing that did startle her, however, was the softly spoken words. She barely even heard them, despite Ceon hugging her when he said them. It was almost as if she heard someone outside the house say them.
Senna assumed the apology was for the act of kissing her hands. She knew it; he had done it, and then regretted it. Her heart ached in a much worse way then before, but she did not let the ache touch her face.
"There is nothing to be sorry for, Ceon. You got carried away, that's all. I'm just glad your back."
The thing is, Ceon wasn't sorry for the kiss, he was sorry for running away. If anything he wanted to kiss her again. If felt kind of cool and the perfume she wore left a funny taste, but Ceon didn't want to get ahead of him. Doing that again would just be pushing it too far and childish really. When she said he got carried away he didn't really understand. Did she mean carried away as in running away? That was bad really. Ceon never wanted to leave Senna as she was the only person he really knew aside from Claire and Ooji-sama, so leaving Senna behind was something he never wanted to do...
Ceon sat next to Senna and just sat there looking at the wall. He wasn't really thinking straight and didn't know what to do. She was right next to him, and he was a little shaky. Was there something a boy was supposed to do to a girl to make them happy? FLOWERS! Ceon wanted to get her flowers but couldn’t! He didn't want to leave her side after all. SO he had to think of something to do that would make her happy. Boy this was hard to make girls happy. What was she thinking about?
Ceon looked at Senna and focused on her face, then her hair, then the ribbon. That was a nice ribbon he got her! Ceon just smiled a big grin then looked away...
This was reeeeally embarrassing...
Senna studied his face as he sat down next to her, plainly seeing that he was still embarrassed about the event, and would not let her go, however not knowing any better she still thought he was embarrassed about the act of kissing her hands.
"Fine..." Senna sighed. "If you won’t just put such a small thing behind you, then I guess I will have to help."
With that she reached out, and took both of his hands in hers. He marveled at how strong, yet gentle they were, and how large they looked in her delicate hands. She brought his hands to his face, smelling them. They smelled of the forest, where they had played together since they were children, even today. She gently kissed first one hand, and then the other.
Senna let go of Ceon's hands, and tried to gather herself. She was glad that the light from the lamp was so dim; maybe Ceon would not catch her blush. "There. Now we are even."
Ceon's mouth hung open when Senna kissed his hands. What was she doing? Wasn't only supposed to be guys who kissed the girls hands, not the other way around? This was really confusing! He just looked at Senna and the thing is with the lights all dim, he couldn't see her red face by somehow the room had an atmosphere. The lights were dim, the two young ones had a thing for each other, and they were alone. Ceon gulped down as he was nervous looking into the eyes of Senna. They were as beautiful as she sat there looking back at him with her happy-go-lucky attitude...
Ceon sat closer to Senna in hopes of maybe doing it again or something. He didn't know what to expect, but why not try right? How could it hurt? Ceon looked away from Senna trying to think how to do it? Ceon remembered at a restaurant that some guy just really close to the girl and kissed her all slow and all, then he remembers hearing about how a guy gets on top of a girl and does other things. This love thing was so confusing really~
Ceon looked back at Senna with a red face too. How should he do it?
Senna could see why Ceon had run after kissing her hands before, because now she had a strong urge to bolt for the door and disappear into the night. She fought back the urge though, trying to play the whole thing off as no big deal. Senna finally looked at Ceon's face, and seeing him blush felt like she had done the wrong thing.
Still, the feel of her lips touched against him, his lips touched against her when he had kissed her hands, these had been such powerful moments to her. She could not think of them as mistakes, not when they had felt so right. Yet the embarrassment on Ceon's face, the slight blush, these told Senna that he thought they were.
"I...I'm sorry."
NOW!
At that moment Ceon decided to use both methods he thought of together in hopes one would make her happy. Ceon quickly turned throwing both hands on her shoulders, and he pushed down, throwing her back and he looked down at her with big eyes still kind of scared. He gulped again knowing it's now or never, so he went for it. Slowly, Ceon closed his eyes and leaned in kind of roughly, but as sweetly as he could he placed a small kiss on Senna's lips. This was Ceon's first kiss and he didn't know if he was doing it right or not, but he put his heart into it!
Ceon held the kiss for about 5 seconds then threw his eyes open and jumped back now looking at Senna. His breathing was fast and quick as he didn't know what she would think. Was she scared? Was she angry? He didn't know! He just awaited her response now that she knew the answer...
Ceon loves her...
Senna suddenly found herself on the floor, with Ceon hovering over her. She was shocked, Ceon had never acted like this before, and for a moment she was afraid that they were being attacked, that somehow their village had been caught up in the war, and he was protecting her. Then it happened.
He kissed her.
Senna had hoped, dreamed of this very moment, but had never actually expected her first kiss to be from Ceon. She closed her eyes when she realized what was happening, and even after the kiss ended, she did not open them. She simply laid there, with her eyes closed, for a few seconds as Ceon looked down on her.
Finally, she opened her eyes and smiled up at Ceon. Without saying a word, she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him back down, this time kissing him.
She wasn't opening her eyes. This worried Ceon as he began to think he killed her! He was getting scared that he killed her! This wasn't good at all, because this shows that men kill woman with kisses and men are murderers! Ceon was about to run for help, but the pulling of someone's arm yanked his attention from his escape and pulled him back to those soft plump lips he was connected to. Ceon's eyes were wide open in shock as his heart was beating so fast he didn't know what to do. But this proved she was alive! So then kisses paralyze women!!!!
Ceon decided to investigate deeper into kisses later, he was busy~
Ceon wrapped his arms around her lower body, using his elbows to keep himself stable and up so that way he wouldn't fall on her or lay on her. He didn't want to squish her, even though he was only he was only 20 more pounds then her after all. Ceon was into the kiss now, as he closed his eyes and held himself there in her grasp. Senna and Ceon just shared their first kiss together alone in their home under the dim lights...
The spark of a young love for an eternity has begun~
Senna lost track of everything except the contact between her lips and Ceon's. She did not know how much time passed, and could no longer distinguish the end of one kiss, and the beginning of the next. It was if the dam had finally broken, and all of her love for him was flooding out.
At one point, between kisses, she looked deep into the eyes of her love, and told him what was in her heart.
"Ceon...I love you. I love you more than anything."
Again, tears formed in her eyes, and this time they did fall, but she wore a smile on her face. They were tears of joy, of love. She had no idea what she had done to deserve someone like Ceon, but she was so thankful that she had him.
Ceon felt the kiss break and he looked into her eyes. They were tearing up and the tears dropped this time. Ceon thought he hurt her, but when she smiled Ceon knew it was good! Then she responded with her love and Ceon was stunned. The color in his blue eyes began to fade in shock and he began to sweat. The word 'love' wasn't used around Ceon ever since his Parents told Claire and him that they loved him before getting killed before their eyes. Those words scared Ceon, because he thought he was cursed to see everyone he loved die around him, but with Senna, Ceon's felt so much happiness, friendship, and love. He couldn't leave her!
Ceon kept in contact with her eyes looking into the beautiful tan color with such care. Ceon decided right then and there while looking at Senna, that he will be her guardian. He will fight anyone and whoever tries to hurt her with his life. He will fight till his last breath and defend the best he can, and he will promise it with a kiss.
Before that kiss, three small words came from his quiet voice...
"I... Love you... Senna..."
Ceon leaned in slowly having their noses graze each other softly, and then he engaged their lips for a more passionate kiss. Ceon moved his arms from her lower back, up so that she was leaning into the kiss now from below him, and he didn't want to stop. He wanted this to be the most beautiful kiss he's ever given anyone, because that specific kiss meant he will protect her and love her for the rest of eternity, even beyond death...
Senna had never had a more tender moment in her life; she had never found herself filled with so much joy as she returned the kiss, not knowing what it signified to Ceon, but knowing that it was their first kiss after they each proclaimed their love to the other. That made it truly worth remembering, perhaps even more so then their actual first kiss.
Senna knew that this evening would be forever locked in her memory as the best time of her life. Nothing would ever change how she looked back on this evening, nothing could ruin it.
"Ahem."
Senna barely acknowledge the voice, it sounding like it was worlds away.
"AHEM!"
Senna finally broke the kiss, looking up into the face of her grandfather, the village leader, clearly returning from his business in the next village. Senna could do nothing but blush as she realized that Ceon was still on top of her, and they were lying on the floor.

that sound broke Senna and Ceon's kiss as they both looked to see the village leader, otherwise known as Senna's grandfather and Ceon's caretaker. The look on Ceon's face was priceless! He was wondering what Ooji-sama was doing back at this hour and how it was annoying it broke their kiss, but then Ceon looked back down, as his mind returned to him. His face grew red and steam came from his ears as he just remembered that: HE'S ON TOP OF THE VILLAGE CHEIF'S DAUGHTER! And to make it worse their age was around the time of marriage and all the other fun things! That was not good, because now this is going to be taken to a greater scale. At least Claire wasn't there to give Ceon hell really...
"I'm Baaack~"
OH DAMN THE LUCK!
Ceon quickly rolled over grabbing Senna's hand and stood her up while helped her up. He CANNOT let Claire see them kissing or laying atop one another, it was bad enough Ooji-sama saw really. As Claire came around the corner and evil grin spread across her face. Ceon's heart was struck with fear at the moment as he didn't know what she was thinking till Claire pointed at the two...
"He's holding your hand Senna, doesn't that mean you two are lovers now~?"
Ceon looked down to see he was still holding her hand. GAH! DAMN IT ALL! CLAIRE AND OOJI-SAMA FOUND OUT! This is not good! Is Ceon going to get kicked out of the house? Is he going to get in trouble? Is he going to get crap from Claire the rest of their life? The last one yes, but the others? Who knows~
Senna's heart sank at hearing Claire's voice, announcing that she was home. Her grandfather she knew she could deal with, she might even be able to handle Claire, but both at once were the worst thing she could think of. Separately, she would have told different stories. Claire she would have confided in, although not the whole truth. Her grandfather she would have hid things from.
It was not that she was ashamed of her relationship with Ceon, in fact she was proud. It was simply that for the past...she didn't even know how long, they had been laying on the floor kissing after finally sharing their feelings, and until they knew where they stood with each other, she did not want to share everything with anyone.
Claire would make fun of Ceon, Senna knew. On the other hand, Claire was Senna's closest friend other then Ceon, and she knew that Claire would be happy for her, for them. Her grandfather, chances are he would overreact in one of two ways. He would kick Ceon, and possibly Claire as well, out of the house, or he would force Ceon and Senna to get married immediately.
Would Ceon want to marry me? Do I want to marry him? Yes, of course I do. But...I wasn’t expecting it so soon, before we could even sit down and talk...Would he marry me?
Senna knew that her only chance to work things out for the time being was to separate Claire and her grandfather. Her grandfather already knew, so she would have to talk to him first, but there was still time to prevent Claire from finding out, if she could just act natural until Claire left the room-
"He's holding your hand Senna, doesn't that mean you two are lovers now~?" Claire asked, almost immediately after entering the room.
Mentally, Senna slammed her palm into her forehead as hard as she could.
Okay, new plan. I have to lie to Claire, and tell Ooji-sama what is going on.
She focused all of her willpower into sending Ceon just one thought.
Ceon...my love, please do not believe what I am saying.
"Oh no!" Senna exclaimed in response to Claire's question. "I simply tripped and he was helping me up, that’s all. Thanks Ceon!" She removed her hand from his, though desperately wanted that contact between them to return.
"Really?" Her grandfather asked. Senna froze. "Because from what I saw, you two were locked in a very deep kiss, down on the ground."
"What?!" Claire asked, excited. "I knew it!"
Senna's heart sunk. She was out of ideas.
I'm dead...
That was all that was in Ceon's mind. He couldn't do a thing and just wanted to forget everything. If he could just die and start over he would, because this was going to be his end. His sister found out what happened and Ceon was going to get reamed. Ceon stood a little limp awaiting the punishment from Ooji-sama and the torture from Claire. It was about to be hammered down on the boy as he awaited his beat down...
"Well, I guess that means my granddaughter finally found someone. I was afraid she would never find a man or someone to be with, but I guess she found one. Ceon, I'd be proud to call you my grandson~"
That made Ceon snap from a worthless attitude to a WTF!? WHAT WAS GOING ON?! Claire then jumped in with her evil antics, yet how cute she was, she loved torturing her little brother and little sister~
"OH! Ooji-sama, can I be the maid of honor!? Oh it will be so beautiful~ Senna and Ceon, ohhh myyy~ your children will be SO CUTE!!!"
Hearing Claire's words made Ceon fall face first into the floor. He couldn't help it anymore. He was hallucinating! I mean, Ooji-sama is a reeeeally nice old man, but he just saw Ceon kissing his granddaughter and Claire the most evil of big sisters was praising them! WHAT KIND OF EVIL ALTERNATE UNIVERSE IS THIS!?
But one thing is for sure...
Ceon and Senna knew their love for each other, and now...
Ceon felt like he could talk to her...
Senna stood there, stunned. She could not believe what both her grandfather and Claire had said. She decided she was dreaming, there was no other explanation. She and Ceon had fallen asleep when on the floor...no, the whole thing was a dream. That explained everything.
Subconsciously she reached down and grabbed Ceon's hand again, and gave it a squeeze. This brought her to her senses, she knew it was real. For the third time that evening, she found herself near tears as she looked back and forth between the smiling faces of her grandfather and Claire.
"Well, I think Ceon and I have a lot of things to talk about before we get that far...wait a minute, what do you mean you were afraid I wouldn’t find someone, Ooji-sama?!"
Senna glared at the old man in mock anger and they all laughed.
"I didn't mean anything by it my dear, just that I never saw you with any boys other then Ceon, and well, I didn't think either of you would ever start anything, even though the rest of us knew you both wanted it." Her grandfather told her, winking at Claire, who smirked at them.
Senna let go of Ceon's hand to rush over and hug first her grandfather, and then Claire. Quickly she was back by Ceon, holding hands once more. As far as she was concerned, she never wanted to let go.
Ceon was still lying on the floor, facing the wooden ground as he felt Senna grab his hand. Then he felt her let go to go hug Ooji-sama and Claire, then grab his hand again, but this time when she grabbed it, it was tight, and something was behind it. Ceon looked up from the floor and looked at Senna as she was so happy holding his hand. He then looked at Claire and Ooji-sama, still thinking they are the evil twins of an alternate universe there to kill them or steal their kidneys. Ceon let out a long sigh as he stood up now standing next to Senna. The picture of the two next to each other holding hands was something quite beautiful really.
Ceon walked right passed Ooji-sama and Claire and took Senna outside. The stars were out and it was so beautiful! Claire wanted to follow for some more dirt on the two, but Ooji-sama stopped her and told her to rest, she's had a long day. Claire just smiled and went to the bath.
Ceon took Senna over to a small creek and sat down on a nearby rock. He looked up at the stars as they were gleaming that night really brightly. He then looked at Senna as if he wanted to do something but it scared him. He took a deep breath, then did something really out of the ordinary...
'... I'm ready..."
Senna could not help but smile as Ceon led her out of the house, and to the creek nearby. They sat down, and she stared up at the stars in the same wonder she always did, never able to get used to the marvels held in the night sky. Each star hung like a jewel, appearing as though if she could reach high enough, she could take one.
She looked at Ceon happily, but he seemed to have a worried look on his face. Her face quickly turned to concern, and then he spoke.
Twice in one night... She marveled.
"Ready for what?" she asked, truly unsure of what he meant.
Ceon looked at her and smiled. A slight breeze blew by as he watched the red ribbon he got her glide in the wind. It waved back and forth gently as well as her hair. She had a concerned look, but what for? He didn't want to say anything that would concern her. It's just, Ceon always enjoyed quiet and especially since his parents died he never talked, but since Senna and he were open with each other now, it seems there is someone he can trust. To Ceon, trust was a huge thing as it signified the opening to a door of light, and that light is very sacred! In the case of Senna's light it was warm and loving, telling him that she was in love with him. That's when Ceon opened the door to his heart to Senna...
He grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes. To most men, a sign of trust to girls would be a kiss or a small gift, but he already did both, and to Ceon, the biggest sign of trust was his communication...
He took another breath and then gave her the sign...
"To talk... To you..."
Senna's eyes grew wide. She knew what a big deal this was for Ceon. She had grown so used to his silence that she was used to it, and each time he said anything it shocked her. She loved hearing his voice, so soft, so full of emotion, as rarely as it was used.
Senna knew how important this moment was, and she could not bring herself to talk. She talked all the time, but this was Ceon's turn now. She could only nod to him, and eagerly wait to see what it was he would say.
Ceon could see that Senna could only nod and all. Ceon laughed at that and thought it was cute of her to give him a turn and all. He took a deep breath as this was not only big for Senna to hear him, but it was big for Ceon. He was coming out of his boundaries and going to speak. Talking was the reason his parents were dead and that's when he swore himself to silence, which was funny because people thought he was a mute anyways. Even before that dreadful day, Ceon would hardly or never talk, so this was indeed big...
-sigh-
"... I never really liked to talk. I believed that speaking and communication through words only lead to demise, drama, and death. Proof when my parents died. They didn't have to even talk, if they were quiet they could be alive to this day and still healing people, but because they spoke, they are dead now, and that image of watching them die before me will never escape my mind..."
His voice was kind of quiet as that subject was a very sensitive one, but then Ceon's eyes began to tear as he smiled looking at her with happy longing eyes...
"But since we were kids and even to this day, I’ve had the biggest crush on you. I've always wanted to be that special one to you, I was just scared, but now that I know your real feelings I want to say it.... Senna, I love you..."
Ceon then had a big smile on his face as the stars and the bright moonlight shun down on the two by the creek. This was something that neither should ever forget...
Ever...
Senna was amazed, she had never heard him say so much for as long as she had known him, and it had been beautiful, making her both sad and full of joy at the same time. She had no idea he was even capable of expressing himself like this. For once, she could not find anything to say, even though she wanted to.
Instead she simply kissed him. There, under the stars, under the moon, and the heavens opened up above them, they shared their most tender, and longest kiss yet. When she finally broke the kiss, she looked deep into his eyes, and found the words she had wanted.
"You should never feel afraid to talk to me, Ceon, but I understand. I love you, I love you more than anything, and if you never say another word, that will not change anything. Yet, when you do speak like this, I will savor every word as I do now, and I will listen." She paused. "I did not understand my feelings before today, but whenever I am around you, I was filled with so much love and joy it almost hurt. I have wanted to be with you for so long too, and I never want to be away from you. I want nothing more than for us to be together for the rest of our lives, and our next lives, and the next, until the end of time."
She whipped her eyes before meeting his again.
"Will you accept me, as I am?"
When she delivered the kiss Ceon knew what she thought on his words. She must have appreciated it, and that was his goal. Ceon sat there as she spoke, taking in every word she expressed and said. Each syllable she spoke rang in Ceon's head as a melodic tune. Her words were so beautiful and the way she expressed them so whole-heartedly and it meant a lot to him. When she said in the next life and the next, Ceon smiled. He couldn't have thought any better really. Senna was his only friend and his love, and the fact she was so accepting of him no matter the case was a big relief.
However...
When she asked if he would accept her for who she is, Ceon didn't know how to take that. What did she mean? Ceon would have easily agreed with the first statement but the second got him by surprise really...
"What do you mean? You’re the same Senna I've always know! I've always accepted you as you are..."
Tears freely flowed down Senna's cheeks, sparkling as they reflected tiny pricks of star light.
"Because I am loud, I nag you too much, I know it! But you never seemed to mind..."
She buried her head in his shoulder, wrapping her arms around him.
"Thank you." she whispered.
This night could not get more perfect...
Ceon listened to her when she cried a little exclaiming how she was loud and all that. Ceon really didn't mind, he actually thought it was funny! Come on, not everyone can be like him, otherwise the world would be too quiet. Senna made his world colorful and with expression, without her, Ceon would be dull and worst of all, heartless. She technically saved him from a fate worse than death. Her company broke his shell and brought him into the world.
As she buried her head into his shoulder, and she wrapped her arms around him, Ceon just did the same quietly. He just let his arms get a hold of her and he brought her close to his body. Senna really was a sweetheart and he wanted her to have everything. He wanted to be her everything, and she was his everything. His left hand stroked her hair softly as she cried in his arms. This night was beautiful indeed as the two together under the moonlight held each other in their arms spending together a true time of passion.
After several minutes Senna leaned back and whipped her eyes with her long sleeve.
"Oh, look at me, I am ruining this perfect moment between us..." she said as she dried her tears.
Senna looked back to Ceon when she was done, and again found herself not knowing what to say, so she said nothing. She looked deep into his eyes, feeling she could get lost in them forever, and cupped her hand around his cheek, gently stroking his face.
Ceon watched as she leaned back and dried her tears. She then looked at him with loving eyes and cupped his cheek. Ceon closed his eyes placing his hand over hers and then putting his hand on her chin. Her skin was indeed soft and smooth as he ran his hand along her jaw line. His eyes were into hers, as he leaned in slowly. He wanted to give her another kiss, and this time a sweet one. He was also hoping this time he would build up the courage for third base or something, so he would have to move now!
Ceon leaned in, but as he did, his balance on the rock was messed up. Ceon slipped down, and fell into the creek making a splash. Ceon sat in the water as his hair was over his eyes. Ceon's white hair was as long as Senna's but was always out of his eyes. Now it was in his eyes as the water dripped from his hair and soaked clothes. He was shivering as the water was really cold and he looked at Senna as if his cat just died. Ceon looked so sad because his chance for third base just went out the window...
Talk about fail~
Senna could not help but giggle when Ceon fell into the creek, and when he came back up, dripping wet with his hair in his eyes, her giggle turned into all out laughter. Senna held onto her sides, she was laughing so hard they hurt, and fell onto her back the opposite way that Ceon had fallen, so she landed on the ground.
She quickly got up, and extended her hand to Ceon to help pull him up. "Come on, let's get you home," she said, with a large grin on her face.
Ceon sat up and grabbed her hand shivering. It was so cold, and cold was not a great thing for Ceon. As she led him back, he moved his hair out of his eyes and he looked at Senna to see a large grin on her face. What was she grinning about? Ceon just looked at her getting paler and paler because of the cold. Her hand was warm as he held it in his hand and somewhat tightly because he didn't want to let go...
Each step was a slosh and he was dripping wet from all his cloths. His pants hung low and were covering his feet as his shirt was now open and revealing his chest. Ceon didn't mind that as he loved the loose feeling! It made him feel free and all, so he might do that from now on too! Hopefully Senna doesn't get mad that he will do that. Ceon and open bare chest might lead to bad things...
Or maybe not?
They approached the house and Ceon was going to head in back and prepare the bath. The best part is that there is a natural hot spring in the back of the house. Thank god this village was in the forest on the mountain line. Because of that the natural springs were nice. Ceon was going to get some warm clothes and and warm up in the spring and then go to bed. That sounded like a plan really! Nice end to a perfect day~
As they went inside the house, Senna verified her grandfather was asleep, however Claire was not. As Ceon went to take a bath, Senna was forced to share the details of what had happened with Claire. Senna could not mind though, she loved the chance to tell someone. She had hated the idea of keeping the relationship they were developing a secret.
"How long were you two on the floor?" Claire asked.
"I have no idea..." Senna confessed with a blush. Claire laughed.
Finally Claire went to bed, and Senna could feel herself coming closer and closer to drifting off, but she fought to keep herself awake, wanting one last kiss from Ceon on the first day they were together.
Ceon went in back to the springs and jumped in naked. He just sat in the water blowing bubbles and smiling while watching them pop. The memories of the day went through his mind as he sat there warming up. It was nothing he could ever forget really, as this was possibly the greatest day of his life since that horrid indecent! After about 20 minutes Ceon got out of the spring and dried himself off, then throwing some fresh clothes on. It was again long black pants, but the thing is, it's a warm night, so Ceon decided no shirt would be fine. Ceon threw his wet clothes on the line to dry and then walked inside to hear the house was quiet. He walked through the house to realize that everyone went to bed, but one light was still on! It has to be Senna.
Ceon walked in to see Senna getting sleepy once again. He walked in and shut the door behind up and just walked then sat across from Senna. He looked at her and smiling as to tell her he was all clean now and all warm. You could still feel the heat from the spring emitting from his skin...
Senna gave Ceon a sleepy smile, then again wrapped her arms around him and laid her head on his chest. She absorbed his warmth, feeling totally safe and at ease. She leaned up, and gave him a quick kiss, then leaned her head back into his chest.
Within minutes, she had fallen asleep, still sitting up, leaning on Ceon, breathing softly across his naked chest.
Ceon watched and then was shocked as Senna went into his chest and buried herself there. Ceon didn't know what to do really, but when she delivered that kiss, Ceon's face went completely red. He watched as she dozed off into sleep on his bare chest and it was so cute really. Ceon just put his hand through her hair and felt the beautiful softness that was there. Her hair was really nice for the living conditions of their town. Claire must be showing her some tricks if her hair is this nice.
Ceon slowly, without disturbing her, picked her up and carried her to his futon. He didn't think it would be bad if she slept with him really, so he placed her in his bed and then laid next to her. He without even thinking about it, latched himself to her by wrapping his arms around her waist and placed his head above hers so she could nuzzle in his neck. The two could sleep warmly together all night, without disturbance and share their first night together~
"Geez you guys move fast."
Senna opened her eyes, hearing the voice. She wondered where she was, and felt Ceon wrapped around her. She had been dreaming sweet dreams of him all night long. She remembered holding him last night, and must have fallen asleep. She then realized that Claire had been the one to speak, waking her up.
"So, did you guys..." Claire started, but trailed off.
"No, it's not like that at all!" Senna responded quietly, not wanting to wake Ceon.
Was it?
"Whatever. Ooji-sama has already left, and I am off for work. Just don't go at it like rabbits all day, okay?" With that, Claire left the blushing Senna alone with Ceon.
Senna carefully turned, trying to wake Ceon, so she could watch him sleep.
Ceon continued to sleep through Senna and Claries conversation. He didn't want to wake either as his dream was of him and Senna together on a mountain top, the highest place they could go, and looking over the land holding each other’s hands. This dream was so marvelous it even had a happy ending for the boy as he dreamed it. As he slept, he stayed quiet, mouth closed and breathing from his nose. His arms were still wrapped around Senna as he didn't want to let go. He couldn't let go! He had to be with her, and he can't be without her. As he continued to sleep, a small mutter came from Ceon's mouth as he dreamed...
"Mmm... Senna... More..."
He was dreaming Senna and him were playing a fun game and she was wanting to stop. Ceon begged her to keep going because this was so much fun! As he slept, he moved closer to her, pulling her to him and being tighter. His warm body shared it's heat as his heart beat rapidly for her. All he had to do was see her, and his heart skipped a beat...
Senna really was his perfect girl~
Senna had never heard Ceon talk in his sleep before, but it sounded as though he was dreaming of her, just as she had been dreaming of him.
Must be all that talking he did yesterday, maybe it opened him up some!
Ceon pulled her tighter to him, as if afraid she was going to leave. The thought had never crossed her mind. Still, now he was holding her a little too tight, not enough to hurt, but enough to make her a little uncomfortable. And something did not feel right, something felt out of place...
Senna's eyes grew wide.
As they slept in the night, Ceon somehow ended up lower then Senna as his head was at her chest level now. As he pulled her in more and more, his head snuggled into her chest as he dreamed of the two together. His arms went a little lower and was now holding the top of her bottom as he continued to hold Senna. He was giggling and drooling a little for some odd reason no one knew. His dream was really pleasant, but the warmth and feeling he was getting was even better...
Suddenly everything cut short and Ceon opened his eyes a little to see his head was in her chest and he was wrapped to her. He looked up to see Senna in shock and he didn't understaaaaaaand till he felt what was out of place...
Ceon's face went red and he turned so quickly to bury his face and curl up in embarrassment...
Did she hate him now?
Senna did not know how to handle this situation. Should she be mad, or flattered by what had happened? Before Ceon even opened his eyes, she knew she could not be mad at him, and was trying to decide if she should act like she was.
When Ceon did wake up, and realized what was going on, burying his head in her chest, she knew he was embarrassed about it. Senna realized that they were both overreacting. When they had decided they wanted each other in their lives for as long as they lived, they had decided they wanted all of each other. Senna simply had not expected to become so well acquainted with him so soon. When she considered it, she loved him with all of her heart, and she would not make any exceptions for any part of him. Instead of embarrassing him further, she would ignore it.
She stroked Ceon's hair, his face still buried in her chest.
Just how embarrassed is he, anyway?
"Good morning Ceon. Did you sleep well?"
Ceon didn't know how to react. He didn't know what to do even! Was this offensive to her? Was she instead happy by it? He didn't know how to respond! He didn't want to know really, so he kept his head in her chest not moving or showing his face. But one thing was certain and it was she smelt very good. Ceon took a deep breath and inhaled her scent and began to stroke his hands rubbing her back, trying to calm her down if he could...
After she asked Ceon the question he looked up at her scared. His face beet red and he took a big gulp as he tried to smile at her. His smile was really pathetic really. He did like his dream, especially the part where they played together. It was so fun and really something he'd treasure forever...
Ceon whispered...
"G... Good..."
Senna smiled, comfortingly. She could tell he was very embarrassed, and while she was too, she couldn’t stand seeing him in any kind of discomfort. She doubted she ever would.
"Good, good. Me too. Sooo..." She trailed off, glancing down in the direction of their feet. She loved him, she loved ever part of him, but it was quite awkward, and not getting better. "I'm going to get up...to make us breakfast."
She did not move however, she was stuck in his tight embrace.

Ceon finally loosened himself and let go of her. As he did, he rolled over laying on his other side away from her. He didn't want to get out from under the covers and reveal his 'problem'. He just tried to play it off like he was going to sleep a little longer and he waited. He needed her to leave really quick so he can jump out the window and pour cold water on himself. Ceon has heard that was the best trick to removing problem's like his....
I'm sorry~ was all Ceon could think for 'touching' Senna so inappropriately...
Senna got up quickly.
What an awkward way to start our first morning together. I just know he feels bad...maybe I should say something.
"Uh...Ceon? It was...nice." She blushed and hurried into the kitchen to start working on breakfast for the two of them.
WHAT WAS THAT!?
Ceon quickly burst up to look as Senna had run off. It's funny really, both of them are hopeless. Ceon shows a bit of affection and he disappears, and Senna does the same from the looks of it. They were indeed young, but love was so strong in them. Ceon looked down at himself, and adjusted so he can show himself in public without embarrassing himself...
Ceon then got up and walked downstairs looking around the corner to see Senna cooking. She was so beautiful in the morning sunrise, especially with it being fall out. The colors of the horizon with her natural array makes her beyond the most beautiful thing he's ever seen. Ceon slowly walked up behind Senna and wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzling his face in her neck. She said she thought it was nice? Well he'll show her nice...

Senna squealed loudly when Ceon wrapped his arms around her. She had not heard him coming, and hadn't expected him to follow so soon. She felt his face on her neck, and giggled.
"Ceon, stop, I'm going to burn the eggs!" She said, playfully, and clearly not wanting him to stop. "What's gotten into you this morning?"
She whipped one hand on a towel, and took Ceons hand, squeezing it gently.
No, this is how I want to wake up, ever day, for all eternity...
What's gotten into him? She has gotten into his heart, taking him by control. He didn't know exactly what he was doing, but something was telling him how to do it. He just followed this intuition into showing affection towards Senna. His right hand was being gripped by hers gently, and he moved his wrist so he could grip back. His left hand then began to explore her curves as he was curious about her and wanted to get a good feel...
He then smiled gently and planted a small kiss on her neck, then down to her shoulders, slowly moving the dress she was still wearing out of the way. Her dress hung off her shoulders as he kissed her neck and shoulders while holding her there. Ceon's heart was beating really fast as he followed it when it told him what to do. He must be doing everything right he guessed...
Senna stood there, not sure what she should do at this point, but making no move to stop Ceon. She wanted this, she knew that she did, and if he felt that they were ready, then she would do anything he wanted.
Ceon then carried her into his room that morning where the two shared their first intimate touch together and made love for the first time. At the end of the session Ceon and Senna laid together as the morning sun peered through the window.
This was Ceon's opportunity. He didn't want to leave her, but he had to quickly clean the mess the two made and pick her dress up, and get dressed. Claire and Ooji-sama would be back within an hour or two and he had to make sure they didn't know. Ceon very gracefully escaped Senna's grip and got to the edge of the bed. He looked back at her
